Email Relay

Email relay is the process of transferring an email from one server to another on its way to the recipient. It acts like a middleman, relaying the message between mail servers.

How email relay works:

1. You send an email from your email client, app or server (e.g., a password reset).

2. It goes to a relay server (e.g., SMTP server).

3. That relay server checks the email and forwards it to the recipient’s mail server.

4. The recipient’s server delivers it to the user’s inbox.

Why Use Email Relay?

• To send bulk emails (marketing or transactional)

• To send emails from your own domain without managing a full mail server

• To ensure better deliverability (avoiding spam folders)

• To use third-party services (like SMTP IP)
